Kapahaka-Northern Beaches
"Te Papa Wawata Ki Te Moana" is a kapahaka group based in Dee Why. We are a whakangahau roopu however, are looking at the possiblity of developing another group aimed at competition nationally/internationally. We encourage all ages/nationalities to come and participate. We are pan-tribal in terms of style, kawa, with the guidance of our much respescted Kuia/Kaumatua. Please feel free to bring your whanau and especially tamariki and come along for a waiata, cuppa tea and a biscuit! Te Reo Maori courses are also available from our roopu every Tuesday and Friday evening using the "Ataarangi" model. Note: TUESDAY NIGHT CLASSES AND KAPAHAKA ARE KOHA ONLY BASED.NAU MAI, HAERE MAI.
