toi iho™ is a registered trade mark used to promote and sell authentic, quality Maori arts and crafts toi iho™ has also been designed to authenticate exhibitions and performances of Maori arts by Maori artists.

Te Waka Toi, the Maori arts board of Creative New Zealand, allocates project grants and develops initiatives. Te Waka Toi also funds Toi Maori Aotearoa on a three-year basis and Kahurangi Maori Dance Theatre on an annual basis. With the Arts Board of Creative New Zealand, it contributes to the annual funding of Taki Rua Productions.

Te Matatini’s principal purpose was to produce a biennial National Kapa Haka Festival. The National Festival continues to be the primary focus of Te Matatini but the role of Te Matatini has been expanded to include other important objectives.

The New Zealand Conservators of Cultural Materials Pu Manaaki Kahurangi Incorporated (NZCCM ) is an association of professional conservators of cultural property employed in public museums, art galleries, libraries and in private practice. The NZCCM was formed in 1983 and became an incorporated society in 1986. The group has regional branches in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.
