Trading under the name Turanga FM, our station broadcasts from transmitters located at Makeratu (95:5 FM ) south of Matawai and the other at Wheatstone Road (91:7 FM ) near Wainui. The studio and offices are located in the Ground Floor of the Nga Wai E Rua Building at the corner of Lowe Street and Reads Quay, Gisborne.

Te Iwi o Rakaipaaka Inc. (TIORI) is developing a Whare Taonga (storehouse of precious items / museum) for its people. The purpose of the Whare Taonga will be multi-fold, including the following: Safe storage of precious items (taonga) and iwi historical knowledge (korero) for iwi access and perusal; Display space of iwi taonga for visitors, guests, and iwi itself; Public cafe (to meet goals of iwi tourism development); Reception/information/sales area; Gathering space and meeting space for iwi as a whole, for the discussion and examination of existing taonga, and the creation of new taonga; and Administration space for TIORI., including museum curatorial staff.
