Te Reo Irirangi o Te Manuka Tutahi
Te Reo Irirangi o Te Manuka Tutahi operates two radio stations. Te Reo Irirangi o Te Manuka Tutahi (The Sun FM) on 96.9FM and Taiohi 98.4 FM.
Taiohi, launched in August of 2003 targets youth audiences and is tasked with promoting te reo me one tikanga to rangatahi and to provide a safe haven for creative Taiohi of the region. The Taiohi premises house a state of the art recording studio which is already in much use by groups and individuals. It also houses a popular Cybercafe. Taiohi – launched by Hon. Ruth Dyson is a serious attempt to promote positive messaging to our rangatahi and to promote te reo in a way that encourages their involvement.
