NSW Maori Rugby League Inc.
NSW Maori Rugby Football League Incorporated. We promote Rugby League for Maori in NSW. We have an interstate tournament each year between the four winds in a straight knockout forum. During the tournament a team is chosen to travel to New Zealand to compete in the National Maori Rugby League Tournament. Last year we won the Rohe section of the tournament and therefore hold the Steve Watene Trophy here in NSW. Young players are given a wider opportunity to compete in local football through our organisation. We have strong ties with both our football and Maori community. Our tournament is held in the first week of October.
