MISSION STATEMENT The kaupapa for Marae Melbourne is to establish turangawaewae for our people in Melbourne through the guiding principles of our tipuna/tupuna: Mana Maori | Aroha | Respect | Accountability | Excellence. THE LOGO The black skyline represents Melbourne. The koru represents the heartbeat and lifeblood of New Zealander's living in Melbourne. The word 'Marae' represents all that we associate with marae - our home / turangawaewae / tikanga. The word 'Melbourne' signifies the place we call home.

Maori Carvings, beautiful unique maori carvings out of Hebel (besser block) for all those special occasions, awards, gifts etc. Our designs or unique one offs. Taonga, maori treasures, manaia, many designs, orders taken.

Mana Wahine Aroha is a social and support group for Maori Women. Our aim is to provide An environment where our members can: *Connect with other Maori women & make new friends! *Learn about and experience the beauty of our culture & language! *Share our knowledge, talents, and skills to help others! *Share our concerns and challenges and look at ways to address them! *Strengthen our Rangatahi through positive examples *Know that they are not alone!! *Build awareness of and access services in the local community! *Develop our skills and knowledge, in education, culture, finance, business etc! *Integrate within the wider community *Foster strong and respectful relationships with the Tangata Whenua! *Proudly represent Maori in our communities!
