Manawa Mai Tawhiti (MMT) is a Perth, WA based kapa haka team. Established in July 2009, it has enjoyed success in regional (WA) and national (AUST) kapa haka competitions. Committed to cultural values, such as Te Reo Rangatira (Language), Tikanga (Protocols) and Whanaungatanga (Positive Relationships), MMT does its level best to retain and maintain Taha Maori away from home (NZ). The word 'Marae' represents all that we associate with marae - our home / turangawaewae / tikanga. The word 'Melbourne' signifies the place we call home.

Mana Wahine Aroha is a social and support group for Maori Women.
