Hauora Manawa, Heart Health - The Community Heart Study is a collaboration of members from the Maori/Indigenous Health Institute (MIHI) and the Christchurch Cardioendocrine Research Group (CCERG) within the Christchurch School of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Otago.

Hauora Matauraka is the Maori health team of Community & Public Health (a division of the CDHB). The team operates with the support of local Maori to provide public health services to the Maori communities throughout Canterbury (including North and South) and West Coast.

He Waka Tapu was established in 1996 to fill a gap in the local community around violence by Maori men against women and children. After approaching Mana whenua for their support He Waka Tapu started providing men's programme for Community Probation Services and men released from local prisons needing to address violent behaviour against women. He Waka Tapu is a charitable Company and now employs over 25 people ranging from, alcohol & drug clinicains, social workers, nurses, counsellors, youth workers administration staff who are supported by our kaumatua Hori Ehau who is an active member of the kahui kaumaatua i te runanga o Otautahi.

Tauti Mai! Welcome! Kia ora! Welcome to Kotahi Mano Kaika, Kotahi Mano Wawata Pou Korero website, an initiative of Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu. Kotahi Mano Kaika, Kotahi Mano Wawata One Thousand Homes, One Thousand Aspirations Kotahi Mano Kaika (KMK) is the Kai Tahu vision for te reo. By the year 2025 we hope to have at least one thousand of our Kai Tahu homes speaking te reo as a natural language of communication.
