Te Kakano O Te Atua (Seed of God). A Kapahaka Roopu in Western Sydney. Founded in 2005, made up of young to old, very lively, friendly, committed and disciplined roopu. Very whanau orientated, loving, caring, always up for a good laugh, but love to perform and share our maori culture along with a positive message. Most recent performances include performing on behalf of Michael Campbell, haka and powhiri for International Sporting and Music artists, weddings, celebrations, birthdays, sporting events, music events, festivals and fairs. Te Ahu A Turanga Marae is a multi-cultural Marae.

This means that the Marae is for the use of all Woodville people and all tribes. All iwi are represented in the carvings- Ngahauewha (the four winds) meaning tribes from all corners of the country. The ground upon which it stands is acknowledged as being within the Rangitane area but the Marae is available to all regardless of culture or iwi.

My Waikato scenic dvd project, will add immense value to the Waikato community, education and literacy overall. Because it can be used as a teaching resource for school age children. My design will also suit special needs, autistic, and deaf primary school children. my project has the full support of many talented members in the community. Politics of the New Zealand Maori, protest and Co-operation 1891 - 1909", 1969, pg. 53). Geographically, from Tokomaru Bay to Ka-iti in Gisborne. WHAT? Today, whanau of Te Aitanga-a-Hauiti have organised around a growing group of supporters that continues to gain wide and knowledgeable recognition from around the motu. Our organisation is striving to gain recognition of our traditional iwi rights - primarily before 'state mechanisms' - based, on our documented ancestral history, distinct whakapapa and whenua interests.
